Price

Wassen is a company based in Wakefield, United Kingdom, and as such the prices on their website are listed in British pounds. The Confiance product is listed at 11.20GBP, which converts to $14.95, for 90 tablets. The product is also available on Amazon.co.uk for 9.93GBP, or $13.26 (~$0.15 per tablet). However, shipping is only available for addresses inside the UK and select other countries.

Possible Side Effects

As with most daily supplements, there is minimal risk of overdose: For many of the ingredients, any overabundance that exceeds what the body can absorb will simply be excreted. The manufacturer’s website does not include any other information on side effects or possible allergic reactions, beyond indicating that there is no gluten, dairy, lactose, or sucrose.

Manufacturer’s Commitment

The Wassen website does not mention any sort of manufacturer commitment. As with most multivitamins or daily nutritional supplements, results may vary between individuals and may take varying lengths of time to manifest.

The Bottom Line

The product is recommended highly in user reviews on the manufacturer’s website, and the Amazon.co.uk reviews are equally positive. Many reviewers note a noticeable improvement in the number and severity of hot flashes. First and foremost, our review noticed the limited availability of the product: Consumers in the United States do not have access to Confiance, as they do not ship to the USA and various other countries due to customs regulations. For users who are able to purchase the product, the only drawback we found with the product was its slightly limited ingredient list: a cursory comparison with similar menopausal or post-menopausal nutritional supplements often finds these same ingredients present with additional ingredients that better address the physical symptoms of menopause. Often these products are at a comparable or even a slightly lower price.
